THE LAST VESTIGES OF NORMALCY!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if what we see as NORMAL wasn't even real and we could create anything else instead?

THE GATHERING OF THE EAGLES

I have loved this story since I first encountered it in the early 80's when every time I had it copied I would promptly find someone who wanted to have a copy. Now, years later, I have found copies on the internet. Of course it would end up here, but it is dated and I want to preserve my copy online while I have the chance. If you are eager to read ahead just click the title line and it will take you to the original webpage.

I assure you that although it is dated it is still relevant.

THE STORY OF MENNO PAULS

THIS VOLUME IS NOT FOR SALE

FORWARD:

....as written by Ray Hudson in 1981
and told to Dr Ki (George Markin)
and Yashah and Group.
at Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada,
March 18, 1982

The story of Menno Pauls, a 'seer' and an enlightened being, an
'angel' working uncover as a window washer. For ten years, Menno travelled the world over telling certain people, whom he called
'eagles', who they really were as spiritual beings and the role they
were to play in the Days to Come.

The main theme of Menno's message to people was that someday they would find themselves in perhaps a beautiful mountain valley setting and they, along with their families, would be safe.
Menno talked of the "pockets" or the "thrones" or the "energy vortexes", where the eagles would gather.

"The Gathering of the Eagles" is the story of Menno's journey. It is considered a classic in metaphysical and New Age ideology.

As Menno requested from the outset in 1981, there never was a copy of this book in any bookstore and there has never been a copy sold. Yet many hundreds of copies have been provided to others. Over the years, since 1981, I have personaly photocopied and passed along well over 100 copies at no cost.

Although written in 1981 and tells of Menno's journeys in the 1970's, this book is not outdated. It is highly recommended reading. Even in the 1970's Menno talked about entering the 4th and 5th dimension (interdimensionality). Folks, we are there now.

As I write this in the latter part of 2004, we are closer than one can imagine to "the Gathering of the Eagles".

THE PRINCE OF HOPE - by Menno Pauls

I was pleased to find again this online copy of The Gathering of the Eagles which is the story of Menno Pauls and was written by Ray Hudson in 1981.

The book begins with this poem The Prince of Hope. I will continue to post chapters of the book until it is complete on my blog.

Permission is granted (by the author) to copy or quote any or all of the text. The volume is not for sale.

While on my travels
I met a man
Who was most different
From others that I've seen.

On his chest
He wore a star-like symbol
That had more point
Than ones we're prone to draw.

A strange shimmering light
Seemed to come from his cloak
And I asked him
If I could wear it.

He gave to me and I tried it on
But disappointment hit my eyes
For the light, so shimmering bright
It did not shine for me.

I looked back at him
Saw him gently smile
And saw the light
Still shine from him.

And in my mind I also saw
That the light
Did not come with his cloak
But from somewhere else deep inside.

I asked him
Where he was from
And why it was
That he had come.

He answered saying
"I am from distant shores
So far away that ships of space
Which you possess -

Will never touch.
Yet so close
That your heart
Can nearly see."

And then he said
"I am the Prince of Hope,
Come to help those find
What they have lost.

I am a courier from home
With a message of hope
For all the crusaders
Of justice and freedom,

Who believe they are surrounded
And cut off from the front.
I have come to ask
Those trying to follow -

The many low ideas
Of self-proclaimed leaders,
To stop, think, and search
For the higher ideals
That each possess deep within.

Let not the prophets of doom
Confuse and frighten
And totally un-enlighten
As you prepare yourself -

To weather the passing
Of yet another season
There are many who believe
That the end of this season
Is the end of time.

Let not those, blinded by fear,
Keep you from realizing
That after fall and winter
A brighter spring will come.

Although we met in summer
In but a moment
He took me to a time and place
Where snow was falling -

And icy winds nipped at my face
And he said,
"Follow in my footsteps
And I will help you
Through the storm.

As we walked along
I saw a tree
With no leaves,
Standing naked as if dead.

The Prince, as if he had read my mind,
Walked over to the seemingly lifeless tree
And somehow opened up the tree
To it's very core.

There at the center
He pointed out
That its sap, its lifeforce,
Was still slowly flowing.

Then he swiftly closed the opening
And scraped away the snow at its base
Revealing a patch of ground.
On the ground lay dead leaves -

Which once had been part of the tree.
He pointed to the leaves
They came to life
And then changed into people.

They seemed totally obsessed
With self
Not caring what happened
To others around them.

Then the Prince pointed to the people
They turned back to leaves
The leaves went back to the ground
And the snow covered them once more.

I asked the Prince
"And what of spring,
How does it look then?"

And in a flash of time
The snow disappeared
And the blossoms were
Of a sweeter fragrance
Than any I had ever smelled before.

There were colors in the blossoms
That were strange to the eyes.
As we flashed through time
I noticed that the weather -

Was strangely different
Not as severe as I'm used to.
And the rain would appear at night,
Like a heavy dew

I was about to ask him
What the people were doing in spring
When the Prince spoke, saying
"You are not viewing the perfect season
But rather one moving towards perfection.

I cannot show you
Of the people
Beneath it all
But I can tell you this.

There is more of a oneness about them,
A moving towards unity.
A greater understanding
Of how each one
Relates to the whole.

Civilizations come and go
But the best of a civilization
Survives to form
The foundation of the next.

Like seeds hibernating
Through the cold winter
They sprout when the warmth
Of spring touches them."

I asked my guide
"Will I be part
Of that tree...
In this spring?"

And he answered,
"No, the time of this season
Will be beyond your time.

But you have the opportunity
Of being part of the sunshine
And the rain
That give the tree life."

The Prince and I
Went back to the place
Where we first met
And as we walked along the beach
I asked him of things
That lay upon my mind.

"There are many who seek an easy trip
And wish for me to share."
The Prince did not answer me with words
But quickly took me to an airport
To where they all depart.

And I saw many people rushing about
Picking destinations
To who knows where
And paying with money
They could ill afford.

And I saw a few
Who patiently stood in line
And had their tickets
Well in hand.

I watched them all
Carried High
Into the sky
And off in all directions.

Then the Prince took me
To the place of arrivals
Of that same terminal.
And there I saw planes coming in
And from them stepped
The ones I'd seen depart.

The many who seemed in haste,
To look at them you'd think
Their trip looked blank,
Their hearts were empty,
Their minds could not describe
Just where they'd been.

And to top it all
The bill was yet to pay.
And if my memory had not failed
I'd swear I saw some leave
Who did not come back home again.

And the ones
Who had calmly boarded
Were still calm
But happiness was added to them>

Then the Prince said
"The truly great and beautiful places
Your heart yearns to go
Will not vanish while your mind
Earns the right to share a seat.

To be Continued!

"ONE"

This is the first in a series of six channelled messages. They are given one at a time and are only numbered until later when the title or titles will be given.

I decided to post each one as they are received. For me that is an exercise in trust.

Greetings.

We are well aware of your indecisiveness. You are restless and fidgety at times as though you need to do something but don’t know what it is. You do not always realize that you are no longer in a battle of light and dark, either within you or in the world as a whole. This pattern of many centuries is quickly ending. You may be surprised to know that the age of disclosure and rebuke has passed. Those tried and found wanting are still with us. If you were braced for the good fight, you can relax, as the need for that has passed also. Struggle is quickly losing its significance as a means to an end. Instead you are now being aided to heal yourselves and rebuild yourselves from the devastation of the prior decade where you have been left feeling as though you were part of the fight even if you were not actually fighting.

It is safe now to give up your vigilance and turn within to heal. It is as though the summit has been reached and now on the downward trek you find answers come to you, negatives are easy to release, values are changing and desires of the heart are once more guiding your actions. You are all feeling some movement in this direction.

Movement from hatred and war to love and peace is not an evolution that effects the heart but one which is caused by the heart. It is true; you are the creator of everything. How often you clung to those words and hoped they were true. Now it is coming clear in your experience that you are the creators and you are nearly speechless with amazement.

You thought that once you had the knack of creation mastered, you would have all the abundance you ever dreamed of. This is true dear ones, you will, but there is so much more to this than what you think you want. You see, what the universe has in store for you is everything, anything and all things of which you can conceive. You may have them all at once or in any manner you choose.

The great and infinite universe is not without humour though because it already knows that once you can easily create all things you will not need anything. You see, it will be the end of striving. This is a glimpse of the end of your current growth phase, the phase which is beginning now. Are you feeling that your daily pressures are becoming less and things which were once difficult to do are becoming easier? Does it seem like you want more time for relaxation and you are able to fit that more easily into your day. Are your priorities changing? If not yet then watch for these changes to begin to happen over the next few months. This feeling of relaxation and comfort is part of the new way that you are moving toward. It is a result of the work you have accomplished in the past that has opened you for this expansion of energy. It will still feel tiring for some time as the energies are heightened and changed. Do not be concerned by this, it is also encouraging you to take adequate rest which is what you need. Your job now is also less active. You will find as you begin to live more from the heart your main difficulties and strain will fall away.

We remind you to be diligent about nurturing your spirit daily. This may be done through meditation on your own or with a group. It is the only thing being asked of you now. Come energetically and also physically to join with others on like paths. Support one another in this regard. We want you to understand that anything else you may do is secondary to this.

We have much to discuss with you at a later time. For now, we leave you with a shower of blessings and love.

Unwanted Effects of Great Freedom

Martin is a couch-surfer and fellow nomad. He posted the following message in a group called "Full Time Travellers/Nomads" on the CouchSurfing website at http://www.couchsurfing.org/ (You must be a member to access the profiles and groups.) I am posting it here with his full permission.

"Hi fellow nomads!
Just found this group and immediately wanted to join and introduce myself, to see if someone can relate to what I'm doing with myself. But now I realized I'm sick of my life story so I'll look for another approach. :)"

He continues......

"I'm wondering about this:
Being retired or just somehow having enough money to travel forever and not needing the home you had anymore is one thing. Sounds like a very rich life!

But, are there also nomads of the kind who simply don't have a "home" even if they would want one, and/or who don't have a source of money and are actually not really sure how they will survive more than one day/week/month at a time?
Who don't know if being a nomad is something they decided or something that just happened?

Having been homeless for 2 years in pursuit of freedom, trying to renounce things, habits, desires etc, I now find myself in a country I didn't expect to be in, with almost no money, no income, no profession, hardly any connections, no backup home to go to anywhere in the world but only temporary ones. I don't know how long I can stay here and don't know where to go next. And here's the thing: I don't mind.

I'm discovering that the one thing still scaring me is that I'm not afraid of things anymore. I'm not afraid of not achieving things or not surviving, I'm hardly not even afraid of causing others trouble anymore, which used to be a huge issue.

I can't see how to get past this. What in the world is going to motivate me to get up and do something, if I'm not afraid of any outcome?

In spirituality this kind of homelessness or freedom is often made to sound all warm and cozy, but please tell me how you actually continue to live in the world if you're not motivated by any fear? Society isn't designed for that for sure. I'm still just 24 and I don't expect to be fed for free if I just drift around like this. Yet I'm totally fine with my life and not motivated to do anything about it. What's happening?

See, it's so odd, I don't even have a problem! I'm healthy right now and not starving and about the rest time will tell. It is causing lots of anxiety though, ironically...
Absurd huh. :)

If anyone else has experienced this, please say hello, or anything you like! It's getting difficult for a part of me to relate to people because most of them are struggling so much and I'm not... so it would be nice to talk to others about it. :)

By the way I'm not suicidal so don't worry."

I will add a couple of comments, from other couch surfers, in the comments section if you are interested. If you wish to add yours Martin will see them.

Why Grandmothers Give Money For Christmas

The first couple of times it seemed really WRONG, like I had no interest in hand picking the perfect present for each grandchild. It wasn’t that I didn’t try. Children like stuff that I have never heard of before.

I learned very quickly to ask lots of questions and armed with a list would head out to the nearest store. Nope! The nearest department store was where I went to shop for my kids. These days the items on the list were all in specialty stores. Each kids choice in a different store of course and the closest was half way across town.

Alright, the second store I try has the first item on the list. I ask the clerk where to find it and she points. Now I have to tell her I don’t even know what it is! She rolls her eyes and says, as though talking to a moron, “Its’ a DVD!” “OK, thanks!” I say relieved that it is something I will recognize.

OK, one down! Next is a game for an “electronic device” that I have never seen before. I have the name and make of the game though. Argggg...... there is more than one version of the game and which model of player do they have? I don’t know. Like I said....never seen it before. “Does it matter that much?” I say to the clerk. “Yes” says the clerk, “Does it look like this?” “I don’t know” I say. “I have never seen it before." Already backing away from the counter, I say "maybe I will have to call them. I’ll come back tomorrow. Thanks.”

And that is how Granma Grinch was created. This year, crisp bills attached to the top of boxes of candy (so they won’t know it’s just money until they open it) and wrapped in festive paper. My can’t-go-wrong gifts are ready to deliver.

Humbug

If Ever You Come Unbent in the Meantime

An undercurrent of emotion seizes the heart with a searing pain and it seems to crack open. Tears come, followed by great wracking sobs of joy. Everything else is cast in one dull shadow. The pointlessness of it all borders on idiocy. Stop! Focus on the intensity. There is life here. You are running after an idea which is sterile. It cannot bear fruit for it is empty of life. Pain is alive. So is joy. They make you feel to your core what it is to be alive. They will not destroy you, but you try to destroy yourself, for your own selfish reasons.

[This came last night and ended as abruptly as it began. To me the title seems incomplete as does the text. I feel like I started reading in the middle of a book. I will not judge however as I asked to channel something that I didn’t understand.

I am trusting it is complete in the way it needs to be and I am posting in the hope that someone gets something out of it. Let me know if you do and perhaps I will too someday.]

“Where am I?”

I love walking, especially in nature, and last month I had the good fortune to move to a suburb with many natural walking options.

I live 3 blocks from the north end of the Meewasin Valley river trail. The South Saskatchewan River zigzags through the city of Saskatoon from Southwest to Northeast and the city has developed many trails along the river’s edge for cyclists and pedestrians. I had no idea the trail came up this far!

Last week I spent two and a half glorious hours exploring the local segment and managed to grab a couple of shots of the sun setting on the river.

The Meewasin Trail is also connected with Saskatoon’s Natural Grasslands Conservation Area. It is a large area of natural prairie land complete with many flora and fauna which flourish locally.

In fact, it is one of the few conservation parks in the world which are found within city limits. It is a great place to walk or meditate in nature and it is only a block from home.

I live a scant 2 minute walk from the outer edge of the city in one of the new neighbourhoods. I love that because I can be walking on a dirt road in the country in a matter of minutes. That really brings out the old farmer in me and before you know it I will be chewing on a stem of grass.

On one of my daily walks I headed down to the end of my street and out into the country, walking around the city through the field. After walking for some time I re-entered the city in another neighbourhood. I noticed a street sign off in the distance and thought, “Ah good! This will tell me where I am.”

As you can see, I was at the corner of 600 Lane and 200 Crescent. This cracked me up because it was no use at all. All the crescents have the same signs except for the one out at the main street. There is no allowance for walkers coming in the back door.

From the edge of Saskatoon to the downtown core, Meewasin Trail is there. One stopping point which shouldn’t be missed is the new River Landing Area which is in the heart of the city. http://www.meewasin.com/development/riverfront/

I suppose I should get a map but that would take the fun of discovery out of my walks. On my last walk I discovered a shortcut to the Forestry Farm Park. You can be sure I will be over there on the next pleasant afternoon.
